A beautifully aesthetic calcite and realgar combination from this well-known mine and the Mervyn Ford Collection. A 5.7 cm, pristine, gem calcite crystal is dramatically perched atop matrix with cherry-red realgar crystals and smaller calcites. The gorgeous doubly terminated, water-clear, light straw-yellow calcite has two nifty twinning planes. The striated faces add fantastic pizzazz to this exceptional piece, that looks great from either side. Very choice combination material for the locale. Fairly valued at $500-700.
