DT twinned Calcite (classic locale)

Item Description

A classsic and excellent calcite from this famous Midwestern quarry. The striking, sharp, lustrous, translucent sharply doubly terminated and twinned crystal has rich golden-amber color and satin lustre faces. The mulitple terminations at one end and bit of limestone matrix add pizzazz. Pristine. A contact near the limestone, where another crystal once lay, has no damage, per se. This crystal is SHARP! It is an old specimen, as the quarry hasn?t produced crystals like this in several decades.
