Item Description
This is a very nice specimen from the most famous tourmaline locality in Pakistan. This doubly terminated, pristine, floater crystal features several color zones: the lower termination is a gemmy, pretty green (with hints of teal-blue and purple!); the body is either super-dark green or schorl; another gemmy green zone follows with a thin colorless or achroite zone above; and the pyramidial termination is a pretty, highly desirable, pastel-pink. A sharp albite crystal on one side is a super accent. The prism, itself, is highly lustrous and well-striated. This is a great display piece and a wonderful pegmatite specimen from a classic locality. These pieces are becomingly increasingly difficult to find in today's market. Ex Matthew Zukowski Collection. Valued at $750
