Item Description
A striking, large, intergrown pair of bi-colored, doubly terminated, floater spodumene crystals from this noted locale and the Herb Obodda dealer stock. The sharply terminated end of the glassy gem crystal is a pretty light pink (kunzite) with the rest being yellow-green (triphane). The color variations are common for Afghanistan spodumenes. Most of the faces are very well-striated and lightly frosted, with one side face being water-clear crystal. Both terminations are etched and frosted. The C-axis shot of the kunzite termination highlights the beautiful pink color. Complete all-around and pristine. DIFFICULT to photograph due to the gemminess, luster and striations. A very fine crystal. Not many are around today with continuing conflict. 344 grams.
