Item Description

A fine, doubly terminated, floater spodumene crystal from this noted locale and the Bob Trimingham Collection. The glassy gem crystal is light pink (kunzite) with a yellow-green (triphane) component. The very well-striated crystal has an extremely waxy luster. Both distinctly different terminations are etched and frosted. The C-axis shot of the kunzite termination highlights the pink color. Complete all-around and pristine, except for a small bruise on one side. DIFFICULT to photograph due to the gemminess, luster and striations. An excellent crystal. Not many are around today with continuing conflict. 158 grams.
