Sparkly, microcrystalline chlorite coats and lightly etches the sharply and complexly terminated, water-clear, light smoky quartz crystal from this uncommon and much less well-known Swiss locale. This is a doubly terminated crystal. The sharp, single termination is strikingly contrasted by the broken, healed and regrown base with a myriad of glassy stepped-growth terminations which are also coated with chlorite! The striking crystal is complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a trivial bit of termination wear. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. A classic and excellent specimen of this varietal from the well known suite amassed by Belsky as a dealer and collector before his untimely passing in 1987.
