A beautifully sculptural, 360-degree specimen of doubly terminated, sceptered smoky quartz crystals from an unknown locality in Minas Gerais. Minas Gerais smoky quartz scepters of this outstanding aesthetic quality are very rare. The gemmy smokies are mostly water-clear and have rich, variable smoky color. This is a RARITY, as the milky quartz stalk has embedded fragments of green and rich indicolite blue tourmaline. Very nearly pristine, the top tip has infinitesimal bruising and there is a small ding, lower on a termination face, which is out-of-sight on the preferred display view.
