Item Description
Dal'negorsk is world-famous for fine calcite specimens and this is certainly one of the more unusual and striking forms you will ever see. This fabulous piece looks just like a glassy ray gun or miniature pistol! The barrel and body is a doubly terminated calcite scepter. The rear of the pistol body is water-clear. The handle is cleaved at the bottom, but there is another inverted scepter attached to the handle and body! Complete all-around and nearly pristine, there is only just a bit of edge wear on the fat termination of the pistol body. Older material from the early 1990s, when these first came out. These came from the Bor Pit. The Herb Obboda dealer label does not indicate the specific locale, as it was not known at this time. Possibly unique in form! A must for the calcite or locality collector.
