DT Scapolite (fluorescent) w/ Diopside

Item Description

An outstanding and pristine doubly terminated floater scapolite crystal from an obscure Bancroft area roadcut. The terminations are strikingly different! The glassy, lustrous and translucent, light straw-yellow crystal has a partial oxide coating. The cluster of lustrous, green diopside crystals at the base is a fine compliment. Red SW fluorescence on the exposed areas. Rare and excellent material from the Robert Nowakowski Collection.
