Sri Lanka sapphires set the standard for form and quality of the species and this is gem of a 2-piece deal with crystals of distinctively different form. Both crystals are doubly terminated, tapered, floater crystals. The unusual square-ended crystal is a light blue with a hint of yellow and the spiked crystal is light yellow with a hint of blue. Both crystals have a light iron oxide coating. The typically layered crystals have lightly frosted faces. Pristine. Not too many around these days. They are all heated, cut, and sold to the crazy Chinese market that is buying up as much as they can. 20.62 carats or just over 4 grams mass.
