DT Sapphire cluster (rare)

Item Description

Sapphire triplets are extremely rare from the famous gem deposits of Ratnapura, Sri Lanka. The gemmy and lustrous, classic, desirble cornflower-blue, tapered crystals are pristine and have classic, well-striated crystal faces. The floater crystals are doubly terminated and I really like the diverging form of the cluster. A bit of embedded matrix is noted. Excellent older material from these famous deposits. 32.94 carats or over 6.5 grams.
