A glorious, bi-colored, red gem tourmaline from a NEW January, 2011 find at the famous Cruzeiro Mine! This is a doubly terminated crystal, with both ends having been broken, healed and regrown. Both terminations have inclusions of lighter pink tourmaline. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a trivial bit of edgewear on the pyramidal termination. Red tourmalines have always been very highly desirable and here is your chance to get a real beauty from a brand-new find. 48 grams.This was ONE pocket and this is the largest and arguably finest crystal we will offer at auction from the lot.
