A beautiful doubly terminated red beryl with gorgeous gemmy sections of rich raspberry-red color and lighter areas of rhyolite inclusions, well-set on a bit matrix, from this unique locality which is the only source of large red beryl crystals on the planet, so far as we know to date. The locale is defunct, and more are not being mined at this time. Classic and excellent old-time material from the Robert Randall Collection and acquired in Tucson in 1981.
