DT Quartz w/ Rutile & Hematite inclusions (Ed Bancroft Coll.)

Item Description

A striking, transparent, doubly terminated quartz crystal with dramatic stellate sprays of brilliant, golden-brown rultile blades epitaxial on hematite from Diamantina, Brazil. It is pristine save for trivial termination wear and bruising by the contact, which is certainly not detracting from this very showy piece. The rutile inside is incredible. Older and very uncommon material from the Ed Bancroft Collection. Small, but choice.
