DT Quartz w/ faden (uncommon Arkansas style)

A sculptural, large, old-time, 3-generation quartz crystal cluster with a faden from the famous Hot Springs area. The sculptural 3-sided piece of very glassy, water-clear to translucent prisms is dominated by the impressive 10.4 cm doubly terminated crystal with single and striking double terminations. The crude faden runs through the large quartz up into the cluster of smaller crystals at the top. Glassy 2nd generation smaller quartz crystals are aesthetically attached to the large crystals, with the surprising back being richly cover with tiny glassy to milky 3rd generation quartz points. Faden or "string" quartz specimens are very uncommon from the Hot Springs area. Very little damage, overall. The attachment is at the bottom of the piece. Rare in this aesthetic quality from an East Coast collection
