Item Description
The Bennett Quarry is a well-known Maine pegmatite, opening in 1916. Well-formed quartz specimens are just not that common from here. This fine piece is a doubly terminated tapered floater with nifty sidecar crystals and is glassy, translucent. An essentially pristine floater. Ex Schlichter Collection.
