DT Quartz on DT Epidote ex Faddis coll.

Item Description

A superbly crystallized combination miniature from this famous U.S. locality. A glassy, translucent, doubly terminated, chlorite-included, quartz crystal is aesthetically set on the side of a lustrous, sharp, doubly terminated, dark olive-green epidote crystal. The basal termination of the epidote is contacted, but has no damage, per se. This cutie is very nearly pristine, with only very trivial bruising to the lower quartz termination. Self-collected by Karl Faddis, a well known old Washington collector.
