DT Quartz incl. w/ Hedenbergite & Andradite (Nowakowski Coll.)

Item Description

A dramatic, large, sharp, lustrous to coated, doubly terminated, stepped-growth, tapered quartz crystal with a scepter-like termination having slightly curved faces is included with green hedenbergite. These crystals are called quartz "prases". A couple of andradite garnet crystals embedded in the terminations are a nice accent. Complete all-around and pristine. A fascinating large example from the early 1990s. Ex Robert Nowakowski Collection.
