Item Description
A water-clear quartz crystal has a striking phantom, which is preferentially partially included with black iron oxides! Weird. This showy and uncommon quartz is from an obscure Arkansas locale, but is well-known among locals for producing phantom quartz. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. One lower side on the back is contacted, but has no damage, and the trivial bit of basal edge wear has no or negligible impact, depending on display view. Actually a doubly terminated crystal, as the broken base is totally rehealed with a myriad of tiny stepped-growth faces. A very nifty and rare quartz specimen.
