Item Description

A very pleasing and unusual bi-colored gemmy tourmaline from Nuristan. The glassy, complex pyramidal terminations on this doubly terminated cutie are a pretty vivid pink. A gemmy, lighter pink zone follows on one end. The narrow olive-green girdle in the middle really divides the crystal! The crystals becomes almost achroite (colorless) below the other termination. The glassy prism faces grade from near water-clear on the front to lightly frosted on the back. Complete all-around and pristine.
