Item Description
A classic, sherry-colored topaz crystal from a New Find in Pakistan. The blocky doubly terminated crystal is water-clear gem with frosted/etched terminations. The modified, complex pinacoidal termination is striking. The four prism faces are water-clear, like window panes. Two prism faces have light etching. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. The upper termination has only trivial edge wear and the lower termination area, with some contacting, has a modest bit of bruising. Very little internal crazing is noted. This is excellent cutter-quality material with rich color. Please note that these crystals can fade to colorless when exposed to sunlight, or possibly any light, so it should be kept out of the light if possible to help retain its color. 74 grams. MUCH,MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
