Item Description
A classic, sherry-colored topaz crystal from a New Find in Pakistan. The blocky crystal is water-clear gem to translucent with a frosted termination. Technically, this is a doubly terminated crystal, as the base is contacted, but has very little damage, per se. Three of the prism faces are water-clear, like windowpanes, with one corner being a bit cloudy. The fourth face is contacted. Complete all-around and very nearly pristine, with only very trivial corner and edge wear. Minimal internal crazing is noted in the upper half of the crystal. The lower half has more veils. This is excellent cutter-quality material with rich color. Please note that these crystals can fade to colorless when exposed to sunlight, or possibly any light, so it should be kept out of the light if possible to help retain its color. 240 grams. MUCH,MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
