Item Description
A classic, champagne-colored topaz crystal from the recent 2011 find in Pakistan. The blocky crystal is a water-clear gem. Both terminations are frosted on this doubly terminated crystal. The prism faces are water-clear, like windowpanes, with one corner having a few more internal clouds. The back prism face is contacted, but has very little damage, per se. Complete all-around and essentially pristine, with only the most trivial termination edge wear. The interior horizontal crazing surface in the bottom third of the crystal actually adds much character. This is fine cutter-quality material with rich color. Please note that these crystals can fade to colorless when exposed to sunlight, or possibly any light, so it should be kept out of the light if possible to help retain its color. 203 grams. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
