Item Description
Diamonds! Diamonds! Diamonds! A "gem" of Herkimer quartz "diamond" deal. A fine suite of 9, classic, doubly terminated, Herkimer quartz "diamonds" from this famous New York county. The striking sharp, water-clear crystals look faceted and each has a slightly different form, adding pizzazz and interest. Interior veils and scattered hydrocarbon (bitumen) inclusions add more character. Most of the crystals are pristine, with a trivial bit of contacting noted to the remaining pieces. Certainly only a modest detraction. You, too, can have an instant "diamond" collection and fascinate your friends! 80 grams total mass. The crystals average 1 inch or about 2.4 cm in size, on the larger ones. Some reach 3 cm.
