DT gem, Calcite (twinned)

Item Description

A beautiful gem calcite crystal from the Ed Bancroft Collection. The doubly terminated and twinned crystal has gorgeous, golden-amber, gem terminations. It is water-clear throughout and you can see the bits on sphalerite on the contacted back. Very nearly pristine, with only trivial termination and edge wear on one end. Classic and excellent Elmwood.
