Item Description
A 2.9 cm, light blue, gem aquamarine crystal is jauntily set on the side of quartz matrix on this fine specimen from the Rice Quarry of New Hampshire. The glassy, textbook, hexagonal crystal is doubly terminated and is totally gemmy. Beryl specimens of this gem quality are relatively rare from this noted locale. The trivial termination edge wear is barely noticeable. You can hardly tell, that the aqua has been reattached to the matrix with a very clean repair. Ex. Irv Brown Collection.
