Item Description

Two imposing doubly terminated fluorapatite crystals are dramatically set side-by-side on the contrasting orange calcite matrix on this impressive large specimen from this famous locale. The sharp, textbook crystals are 8.7 and 8.1 cm long. The waxy luster, translucent to gemmy crystals are mostly a pretty mottled green with some honey-brown areas. The bruised side to one of the crystals is noted, but certainly has only minimal impact to the overall high quality of this piece. Ex Robert Nowakowski Collection. Better in person! Valued at $500.
