Fluorapatite specimens of this exceptional quality are RARE from this old-time locality. The very sharp, doubly terminated, highly lustrous, dark charcoal-gray, hexagonal crystal is nearly pristine, with only trivial bruising. This superb crystal dates to prior to 1900, when Bement sold his 12500 piece collection to J.P. Morgan. Ex Bement, American Museum, Robert Batik and Robert Nowakowski Collections.
