DT floater rutilated Quartz (Fioravanti Coll.)

Brilliant, golden rutile needles fill this striking and impressive, floater, doubly terminated quartz crystal from an unknown Minas Gerais locale. Nearly pristine. One termination is very gently dinged, the other has infinitesimal wear and there is one trivial spot of side wear. Outstanding and rare in this form and quality. Classic old material from the Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection and acquired from another collection in 1972 for 30 Swiss francs.
