Item Description

Quality quartz crystals from this long-abandoned Ontario quartz mine are seldom on the market. The large, doubly terminated floater crystal is mostly water-clear with a translucent basal termination area. Some sides and termination faces are limpid, while others are preferentially frosted or have light etching. The basal termination is complex, as there is a 2.6 cm, horizontal, doubly terminated crystal embedded in it! Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only an out-of-sight, 6 mm chip out of one termination face. Fine material from the Richard Hauck Quartz Collection.
