Item Description

Sparkly, microcrystalline chlorite preferentially coats and lightly etches the sharply and very complexly terminated, doubly terminated, floater, water-clear, quartz crystal from an unknown Swiss locale. The two terminations could not be any more different! One is a sharp spire, while the other is an incredibly intricate and striking cluster of stepped-growth terminations. The striking and facinating crystal is complete all-around and nearly pristine. Both terminations are amazingly pristine. One side has contacting, with no damage, per se and a very trivial bit of side wear is noted. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. A classic and exceptional specimen of this varietal from the well known suite amassed by Belsky as a dealer and collector before his untimely passing in 1987. Valued at $900-1000.
