DT floater Quartz included w/ Fluorite

A striking doubly pair of terminated, floater, quartz crystals. The large quartz is included with about 10 purple fluorite octahedrons to 5 mm. Two sides have at least 10 holes, where fluorite octos were dissolved away. The tapered, lightly frosted, preferentially etched and coated, water-clear quartz crystal is complete all-around, very nearly pristine, with only the most trivial bit of edge and termination wear. This very uncommon find from Madagascar a few years ago represented one of the few new sensations at the Tucson Show. These remain an impressive and highly representative example of this rare Madagascar combination. No more have been forthcoming. This is definitely one of the better specimens we got in the small lot we obtained and was just uncovered from the recent move.
