Item Description
An impressive floater, fully doubly terminated, very sharp hexagonal, lustrous, translucent, pretty pastel-pink manganoan calcite crystal from a NEW FIND at this remote now-famous mine. The crystal has a very interesting interior checkerboard pattern and lighter frosted terminations with stepped-growth, that add pizzazz. It has striking neon-orange fluorescence. Complete all-around and in great shape. A narrow prism face below one of the terminations is lightly cleaved, but is certainly only a modest detraction. Both terminations have barely noticeable scuffing on the edges. A very fine example of the find and striking varietal.
