Item Description
Lake Gilles produces some of the most unusual gypsum crystal forms in the world. This is, however, an uncommon, flattened, "normal" sharply doubly terminated, floater crystal. The water-clear crystal has waxy luster. It is essentially pristine, with only the most trivial of bruising. Older material from the Dennis Mullane Collection. See the Mineralogical Record article in the May-June, 1982 issue, Vol. 13, No. 3 for more info.
