DT floater gem Kunzite (2018 find - 121 grams)

Vivid lilac color is clearly evident looking down the C-axis on this sculptural, gem, doubly terminated kunzite crystal from a 2018 find at this well-known Pakistan pegmatite. The limpid tabular floater crystal has amazing form. The two terminations are dramatically different. The super-high waxy lustre beautifully accents the well-striated prism faces. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. Part of the short edge appears to be cleaved, but it is hard to tell and is certainly only a modest detraction. An outstanding, sculptural and richly colored gemstone. 121 grams mass. Pink fluorescence.
