Item Description

Fluororichterite is a rare amphibole group silicate. The best examples of this rock forming species in the world come from Wilberforce, Ontario and this is a superb specimen. This is a nearly pristine floater cluster of sharp, lustrous, brownish-green, doubly terminated crystals You almost never see these occur so beautifully crystallized and so the mineral is often dismissed as non-worthy of a fine collection. This is an exception, indeed! Older material. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection.
