Item Description
A dramatically sculptural, floater cluster of parallel-growth doubly terminated apatite crystals from this well-known locale. The hexagonal crystals are pastel brownish-green, glassy, translucent and have lightly frosted faces. This very fine piece has striking "cityscape" architecture and is uncommon in this style. A fascinating 360-degree nearly pristine specimen with only trivial bruising. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 13173. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
