Item Description
Knappenwand epidotes are certainly one of the great Euorpean localities and species. This is a large, outstanding, doubly terminated, floater, tabular prism. It is a gem crystal throughout its entire length and has rich clove-brown color. The well-striated crystal has extreme glassiness and very high luster. The terminations are distinctively different and interesting. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, only the bruised tip of the side car crystal and one small spot of termination edge wear. Classic and very fine material. Value??? MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
