Item Description
Natural citrine quartz crystals of good quality are uncommon worldwide. This fine CABINET piece is a doubly terminated, tapered floater with different looking terminations. The broad termination has three small citrines embedded in it. The lustrous, transparent, gemmy crystal has rich golden-amber color with stepped-growth and lightly frosted to etched faces. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. The crystal GLOWS when backit. Complete all-around and in great shape. The steep termination is pristine. A trivial bit of prism edge wear and a bit of out-of-sight bruising to the basal termination are noted, but have very minimal impact to the display quality of this showy and excellent piece. This recent find from Zambia elevates the species.
