Item Description

A classic-style amethsyt/smoky quartz crystal from this noted Maine locality. The glassy, doubly terminated, floater crystal is water-clear to translucent and is purple to colorless, with zones of smoky color. One face has the striking "alligator" look with stepped-growth crystals. Facinating. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. The single termination has a gentle bit of bruising. Excellent material.
