An excellent, floater, doubly terminated amethyst quartz scepter with smoky highlights at one end from recent finds in the famous Goboboseb Mountains. This showy piece is glassy and translucent. The stair-stepped scepters, shading variations of the amethyst with the hint of smoky at one termination and preferentially frosted faces are noteworthy. Every turn of this sharp, slightly flattened, pseudohexagonal crystal presents an entirely different perspective of the exterior and interior of this fine crystal. Complete all-around. A bit of termination wear is noted. One side is contacted, but has limited damage and one mostly out of sight face is bruised.
