Item Description

A striking doubly terminated, floater, skeletal or window (fenster) quartz crystal with clay inclusions from a very uncommon Mexico locale - Potrero Chico, Nuevo Leon. The glassy, transparent crystal has fascinating parallel-growth clay inclusions throughout much of the piece and the cavern in the side of the large termination is impressive. Very nearly pristine, with only a small bruise to the tip of the large point. Scattered out-of-sight contacting has no damage, per se. The skeletal and clay inclusions on this 360-degree piece are surreal. Very rare from this locale. Ex Cynthia Payne Collection. Valued by the former dealer at $495.
