DT Faden Quartz ex Obodda

Item Description

A striking and aesthetic faden quartz miniature from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. The piece looks like a tomahawk with a large hyper-exaggerated double head. All of the crystals are water-clear, with the tabular crystal in the "head" being doubly terminated. You can see the faden or "string" in this. The "handle" is composed of a couple of quartz points and another faden is visible here. This is indeed, a striking and fine, two-sided specimen from this late 1990s find. Specimens of this size and quality disappeared very quickly.
