An unusual and very rare etched aquamarine from this classic old Brazil locality! Most aquas from here are the striking heavily tapered or are prismatic crystals. This doubly terminated, heavily etched, tabular floater crystal looks like a greenish-blue icicle! Sections of the lustrous crystal are quite gemmy. The etched cavity in front really adds pizzazz. A rare and excellent style of aqua from the P.A. Matioli Collection, a noted Sao Paulo, Brazil collector. 52 grams mass.
