A splendidly constructed epidote from this famed locale. Two, aesthetically intergrown, highly lustrous, doubly terminated, epidote crystals are arched over a smaller epidote. Scattered quartz points are a super accent. This exceptional piece is pristine in the display view. A mostly out-of-sight contact on top right, where another crystal once lay, has no damage, per se. Ex University of Delaware Collection. Purchased from Art Montgomery in 1937, this piece was undoubtably collected by his partner, famed field collector, Ed Over. A fine provenance for an excellent epidote. Value???
