Item Description
A superb and large for the locale, doubly terminated epidote crystal from this famous valley in Italy. The crystal is a lovely olive-green, has superb glassy luster and has considerable translucency/gemminess. The tabular crystal is rare in this quality and is an important locality specimen. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a trivial bruise to the back edge of one of the terminations. Ex. Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection and obtained in an exchange in 1978.
