Item Description

A 2.8 cm, pristine, doubly terminated dravite tourmaline crystal is very jauntily set on amazingly pearlescent muscovite schist on this excellent combination specimen from this famous area. The lustrous, translucent, dark brown crystal has striking thin zones of amber-green gemminess, best seen under bright light. Ex Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection and purchased in Zurich in 1975 for 30 Swiss francs.
