Natural citrine quartz crystals of good quality are uncommon worldwide. This impressive, large, doubly terminated obelisk has gemmy golden-amber termination areas with a lighter colored translucent mid-section. The prism and termination faces are lightly frosted and the prism faces have subtle stepped-growth. Then fishtail-twin termination at the base adds pizzazz. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. The primary termination has trivial bruising and both tips at the other end are gently bruised. An excellent large example from the find. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $145, for free. This recent find from Zambia elevates the varietal. Valued at $2000.
