A very fine doubly terminated calcite from this extinct quarry (due to population growth). This sculptural, water-clear colorless gem has fine form, some stepped-growth faces and waxy luster. The brown clay inclusions and side car crystal one one end really add pizzazz to this excellent and uncommon style of calcite. From older 1970s and 80s finds.
