DT Calcite w/ Chalcopyrite (uncommon locale)

Item Description

Mineral specimens are rare from this large open pit limestone quarry. An impressive, pristine, doubly terminated, glassy, highly lustrous, calcite crystal has a striking transparent knife-edge termination. Attached to other calcite crystals, this very sculptural and aesthetic piece is nicely accented with tiny included chalcopyrites on one end and bit of limestone matrix on both sides. A rare and very showy two-sided specimen from the locale. Hot neon-pink fluorescence.
